The Flying Club operates from Trim Airfield (EITM),Ireland, situated in the heart of the Boyne valley of Meath about 15 minutes flying time from the east coast, from Dublin Airport (EIDW) and from Weston Aerodrome (EIWT) .Trim Flying Club is a voluntary flying organisation founded in 1979, with the primary objective of promoting amateur aviation and in particular to run instruction and training courses relating to private (non-commercial) flying. The club is run by a committee, appointed in accordance with the Memorandum and Articles of Association of Trim Flying Club Ltd, which meets monthly to conduct the business of the Club

Flying Club is recognised by the Irish Aviation Authority (IAA) as a Registered
Training Facility (RTF) for pilot training in the following areas:
• Theoretical Knowledge Instruction for PPL(A) (Private Pilot Licence
– Aeroplanes)
• Practical Flight Instruction for PPL(A)
• Single-engine Piston Landplane SPA Class Rating
• Touring Motor Glider (TMG) SPA Class Rating Conversion
The Club is currently open to applications (Valid April 2008) from new members
from Trim and surrounding areas –either people who would like to learn
to fly, or existing holders of PPLs or above.
